Much love to our girl RiRi.  A sexy Esquire Magazine cover and a fan-driven Facebook promotional campaign sends Rihanna to #5 on Billboard’s Social 50 chart this week.  Did you catch the premiere of her new music video for her hit single “We Found Love”?  All I can say is RiRi “please say my name!” She joins the Fab 5 with the likes of Justin Beiber #1 Adele #2, LMFAO #3, and Shakira at #4.

Sony/ATV Music Publishing has entered into a long-term, worldwide co-publishing agreement with Pitbull. Moreover, when the artist’s current deal with the Universal Music Publishing Group expires, Sony/ATV will serve as exclusive worldwide administrator of his catalogue.  Can someone say? “Cha Ching”! In 2010, First Lady Michelle Obama created Let’s Move! as a National campaign to end childhood obesity. With a goal of “solving the challenge of childhood obesity with in a generation so that children born today will reach adulthood at a healthy weight”.

This program helps encourage healthier food options in school, better food labeling and more physical activity for children.

Last month, Beyoncé partnered with the First Lady and her “Let’s Move!” campaign. In support of the campaign, she took her infamous “Get Me Bodied” club track, then renamed it “Move Your Body” and made it danceable and exercise-worthy for children (and everyone else). Read the rest of this entry »
